Coupon Savings

This year I wanted to keep track of the total amount of money that our household saves in coupons.  We are just over six weeks into 2011, and the total amount that our family has saved in coupons so far is $206.39.  Money that we have saved by shopping advertised sales is a total of $296.38.  At times, couponing and shopping advertised specials can feel very time consuming, so if you can see how your effort is paying off, it helps.  Studies have shown that couponers "make" around $30 an hour.  So if you're feeling frustrated with couponing, just keep it up, and you will see the fruits of your labor!
